First day at richmond
a short while upon reaching our hotel.. we decided to walk around our neighbourhood and go in search of... FOOD!!
finally we settled on wendy's for our lunch/dinner. it was just opposite our hotel and since we had heard but never tried of wendy's before, we decided to give it a go.
i shared a meal with yicui... looks quite good eh? it's sorta like their zinger/mcspicy kinda thing except that it is really NOT SPICY at all lor.

then, we took a walk down the street... enquired about car rentals... and window shopped around a bit...
a traffic junction of west broad street. look how their traffic lights are hung across lines instead of standing up.
anyway, we went to one of their supermarts to go shop shop.. unfortunately, it's not wal-mart!! sighs. disappointed. wal-mart is not within walking distance to where i stay. but there are quite a few marts around my area.
look at their apples...!!! so pretty! where do you find such nice, pretty, colorful apples in... ntuc fairprice..?? or even cold storage?
and then look what i found!?!? haagen daz and ben and jerry ice cream!! it's like four bucks for one tub only lor.. which is like only about S$6+ only!! that's like how cheap?! it's about half of what it costs in singapore la! yeah.. cuz both are US brands what... but too bad i can't bring them back la. wasted.
that was like more or less the whole day because there was only half a day left when we reached. we spent a long time at the mart though. all of us were so tired and jetlaggy so we went back to sleep. =)
